Dr. CHEAT Sophal is a Senior Consultant of Agricultural Development of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. He has been working for 9 years in agricultural and animal science. He earned his PhD degree in Mycotoxicology from Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire, France. He holds a master degree in Animal Science (Sweden) and a bachelor degree in Science and Veterinary Medicine (Cambodia). Sophal previously worked as lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia. He experienced in researches and developments particularly in food quality and security as his recent achievement. He held many experimental animal projects supported by SIDA and the French government. As results, his research articles from those were published. Khmer is his mother tongue, and he speaks fluently English and French.

Mr. CHEB Hoeurn is an EIA, and Environmental Economic Consultant of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. He has 6 years of experience in conducting research on environmental and natural resource economics. He has been involved in projects of “Can ecotourism reduce the pressure of people on biodiversity in Cambodian Asean Heritage site, Virachey National Park?, “Valuation of Mangrove Ecosystem Services in Coastal Provinces, Cambodia”, “ Building Capacity to Adapt to Climate Change in Cambodia” and so on. As the result, Hoeurn had contributed to the publication of reports, working papers, and peer reviewed papers. He has gotten a research grant from the Economy and Environment Program for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA), UNESCO Chair of the University of Bergamo, Italy, and Mekong Institute-New Zealand Ambassador Scholarship” from Mekong Institute, Thailand (MINZAS). Hoeurn earns Master in Development Studies from Royal University of Phnom Penh under the support from the project of “Building Capacity to Adapt to Climate Change in Cambodia” funded by the International Development Research Centre, Canada. Previously, he earns his bachelor of science in Environment from Royal University of Phnom Penh under the Cambodian Government Scholarship. He is specialized in environmental and natural resource economics. Beside of formal education, Hoeurn had attended with a number of training such as “Valuing Regulating Ecosystem Services in Southeast Asia”, “Biodiversity Valuation and Payment for Environmental Services”, “Valuation, Meta-Analysis and Value Transfer for Ecosystem Services from Protected Areas”, “Valuation and Risk-Based Cost Benefit Analysis” and other trainings. Hoeurn speaks fluent English and Khmer. 

Dr. CHHIN Sophea is a Senior Biological Specialist of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. He is also a senior researcher for center of biodiversity conservation partnership between Fauna and Flora International and Royal University of Phnom Penh. Currently, he is doing his PhD on Ecology, “distribution and population of chestnut-breasted partridge and yellow-necked partridge in Cambodia” at King Monkut’s University of Technology Thonbori, Thailand. He earned his master degree of Science in Biodiversity Conservation, and bachelor degree in Biology from RUPP. Sophea works for biodiversity conservation with Fauna and Flora International for 12 years as senior researcher and junior researcher for wildlife conservation society for 4 years. His specialist includes Ecology, Species population, Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, Biodiversity Conservation, Statistic, Environmental Awareness and GIS. He was also a grantee of Conservation Leadership Program, Rufford Foundation, and WWF Prince Bernhard Scholarship for Nature Conservation. Besides he also works as consultant regard with biodiversity to conservation NGOs and private company for biodiversity assessment in Cambodia as well such as World Wide Fund, Wildlife Conservation Society, and Conservation International. He is also a teacher of ecological techniques and statistical course at master program of biodiversity conservation at Royal University of Phnom Penh. He leads many projects related to biodiversity, ecology and field course for research Centre with Royal University of Phnom Penh, other international university such as School for Field Studies from USA, National University of Singapore and Charles Sturt University. Sophea have presented his finding related to biodiversity within local and international conference such as Society for Conservation Biology in Malaysia, Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation in China, Indonesia, and Cambodia, Conservation Leadership Program in Canada. Moreover, he also attended the training regard with ecological study training and statistic training in Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Canada as well. He speaks fluently English and Khmer is his mother tongue.

Mr. CHHUN Phanith is a Green Architect and Planner of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Phanith has 7 years of architectural experience in Cambodia. He specializes in architectural design, town planning, landscape design, and interior design. Phanith has concrete knowledge in functional design, green building, passive solar building, sustainable architecture and sustainable community. Further, he has practical knowledge in costing design/construction project and offering design solutions to optimize project cost. Phanith hold a Bachelor Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Royal University of Fine Arts. With his knowledge in green architecture, he has worked in many positions, including architect, interior designer, site manager, and town planner. He worked in numerous projects including design and planning special economic zone (SEZ), new town “Borei”, private residential buildings, government institution buildings, hotel, condominiums, factory buildings, and resort development. Further, Phanith has also experienced in designing and decorating exterior and interior such as hotel-resort, office, retail stores, showroom, and warehouses. Phanith speaks fluent English and Khmer.

Mr. ENG Hak-You is a Senior Consultant of Sustainable Design and Civil Engineering of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. He has worked over 12 years’ experience of civil engineering, construction management, and building infrastructure. He specializes in different field of applied civil engineering, including infrastructure and climate change, urban development, construction management, project management, earthquake engineering, designing building-foundation. Hak-You is a member of the South East Asian Geotechnical Engineering Society (SEAGES), and a member of the Cambodia Society for Transportation Studies (CSTS). Hak-You has forged his in-depth knowledge in civil engineering. He received a bachelor degree in civil engineering from Institute of Technology of Cambodia (I.T.C), an associate of bachelor in civil engineering from Maizuru National Collage of Technology, Kyoto – JAPAN. Afterward, Hak-You earned his master degree (civil engineering) in Foundation Engineering Laborlatery from the University of Tokushima, Tokushima – JAPAN. Based on his expertise and experience, Hak-You worked for many well-known companies such as Hatfield Consultant (Canada), GHK Consulting Limited (UK), ENDEC INC (Philippines), Yonden Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd (Japan), Northbridge Communities Limited (Cambodia), NISSEI CAMBODIA Co., Ltd (Cambodia). Further, he has provided consultancy to the Cambodian government and international institutions. His major clients include the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Municipality of Phnom Penh, and Asia Development Bank (ADB). Mr. ENG Hak-You speaks fluent Japanese, English, French, and Khmer.

Mr. HINSON Oudom is a Civil Engineer of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Oudom has 7 years’ experiences in the field of civil engineering and road construction management. He specializes in design and calculate building structure, including concrete and steel structure, post tension in high-rise building, producing construction documents, construction site management. He has in-depth of practical knowledge and know-how on construction project management, and managing construction worker. Oudom obtained his civil engineering diploma from Institute of Technology of Cambodia in 2010. He also attended professional courses for civil engineer such as post tension in high-rise building, analyzing and calculating based on ACI Code, and technical construction of steel structure. He involved with numerous construction projects. Remarkably, Oudom has worked with the Daiho Corporation in construction of the National Road 1. He played an important role in managing and monitoring construction site, allocating machineries and workers, preparing construction schedule and strategic management plan. In particular, he also provides consultancy to private residential owners in engineering and construction. Oudom speaks fluent English, and Khmer.

Mr. RIEM Rithik is an Architect and Interior Designer of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Rithik has 7 years’ experience in architectural and urban planning experience in Cambodia. He specializes in resort development, hotel design, retail store design, and residential design. Further, Rithik also specializes in interior design. He has practical knowledge and know-how of space and functional design, architectural lighting design, technical detail construction drawing, and construction management. Rithik worked as an architect and provided consultancy to many private architectural companies. He has worked as an architect for architectural firms as well as a freelance architect. He also had international experience in architectural design, and interior design. He designed many retail stores, restaurants, and fast-food outlets in Vietnam. Rithik also worked as personal assistant to the vice dean of the architecture department of Royal University of Fine Arts, and the general director of KTH-HENG Horizons Construction Co., Ltd. He participated in many urban planning and architectural projects such as planning of special economic zone, military fortress planning, and many private residents. He holds a bachelor degree in architecture and urbanism from Royal University of Fine Arts, and a bachelor degree in English literature from Asia Euro University. He speaks fluent English and Khmer.

Dr. SAPHON Somolireasmey is currently a Gender and Social Issues Consultant of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Reasmey specializes in gender equity and gender identity problems which identify deeply with the other sex. She has a strong concept of education under the background of philosophy based on experiences of teaching and relevant terms of work in Royal University of Phnom Penh since 2008. Reasmey has 9 years of experience in research, since she started to work as a voluntary Researcher in DC-Cam in 2006. Through a doctoral scholarship from “The Mover Project, Erasmus Mundus Scholarship” program, Reasmey has earned her doctoral degree  (PhD) in Gender and Diversity at the University of Oviedo, Spain. Her research is focused on the new invisibility of women in Cambodia by researching on dressing, beauty treatments and cosmetic surgery in Cambodia as the main view with philosophical terms of self and personal identity. She participated in conferences and present papers focuses on the topics of “Gender, Self and Personal Identity” in Spain and Thailand. In 2011, Reasmey obtained her master degree in Psychological Philosophy from Keimyung University in Korea. During her study in Korea, she worked as volunteer instructor in the Cross Culture Awareness Program (CCAP) of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO for three years. She received a certificate of appreciation from the Principal of Daegu Namyang School of the Mental Retarded in 2008 for her contribution of teaching the students and the first award of good teaching from the CCAP in 2010. Furthermore, she has two bachelor degrees in Philosophy from Royal University of Phnom Penh and in English Literature from Norton University. Reasmey speaks English fluently, whilst Khmer language is her mother tongue.

Mr. SENG Thearith is a Senior Economic Analyst Consultant of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. He has been working for 17 years in the field of Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, Event Management, Project Evaluation & Management, and HR management. He has been consultanting in the last 7 years in the field of Economic Research & Development, Human Resource Development, and EIA. Thearith holds a Master of Management from University of Technology, Sydney (Australia), and a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration from National University of Management (Cambodia). Based on his expertise and experience, Thearith has provided consultancy to numerous institutions, both national and international institutions, such as the European Union, JICA, Bangkok Research Center-JETRO, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Cambodian Health Committee (CHC), private entities, and various EIA consulting firms in Cambodia. He also provided consulting services on logistic arrangements and lead team of associates to organize various events in Cambodia. It included Cisco, Oracle, Toshiba, Cambodia’s Beverage Company (Coca Cola), Fortinet, Maybank, Applifone, Smart Axiata, etc. Thearith was also a lecture at the National University of Management. He taught various courses such as project management, and change management. Mr. SENG Thearith speaks excellent English, and Chinese.

Mr. SREY Vireak is an EIA Consultant and Data Analyst of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Vireak has 5 years’ experience in research and development in Cambodia. His expertise is in social scientific research, data management and spatial analysis using GIS application. Vireak also has concrete knowledge and clear understanding on research design, comprehensive analysis, economic and policy analysis, and specifically environmental management and planning (EMP) and Environmental Economics. Vireak obtained his master’s degree in the Development Studies from RUPP in late 2014. In 2011, he had received two bachelor degrees in Environmental Science from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), and in Teaching English as a foreign Language from Western University, Cambodia. Vireak had involved numbers of research projects relevant to urban poor community development and resettlement projects with Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT). During his work with STT, he involved in numerous of writing research projects: urban poor community profile, rapid assessment research study on resettlement community in Phnom Penh, impact assessment study on urban relocation sites in Phnom Penh, and other urban poor settlement survey in Phnom Penh. With Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI), Vireak also played crucial role in research activities such as reviewing literatures, supervising field work during data collections, supervising data cleaning and data entry process, data manipulation and management, designing data entry forms, analyzing data and interpreting output for the report. Given his research capacity, Vireak is a specialist in using STATA and SPSS for data analysis, Epi-info, Open Data Kit (ODK) and CSPro for building data entry form, and GIS application for mapping and spatial analysis. More importantly, he also engaged in numbers of research projects relate to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects with local EIA consulting firms. Vireak speaks fluent English and Khmer.  

Ms. THAUNG Ret is a Biological Specialist of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Ret is also working as research officer for Centre for Biodiversity Conservation partnership between Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and Fauna and Flora International. She obtained her Msc in Biodiversity Conservation in 2013 and BSc in Biology in 2010 at RUPP. She has been working for 4 years as consultant and researcher for conservation NGOs in Cambodia such Wildlife Conservation Society, and Fauna Flora International.Her specialties include species distribution, species diversity and abundance, climate change, micro-habitat affect to specie’s present, solid waste management, social perception toward species conservation and related area to biodiversity. Currently, she is leading project with endangered species in Cambodia, investigating distribution status of masked finfoot and identify priority site, and conservation action for fishing cat in Cambodia for Fauna and Flora International. Ret speaks fluent English, whilst Khmer is her mother tongue.

Mr. TOUCH Sorana is an Education Specialist and a researcher for Sustinat Green Co.,Ltd. He has more than 5 years’ experiences working and/or conducting research for both domestic and international institutions. He had taught at the University of Cambodia from 2008 to 2011 and worked for the UNESCO field office in Phnom Penh from April to November 2013, a JICA’s Project from February 2014 to January 2015, and the Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance (VVOB Cambodia) from February to July 2015. His many of research interests are mainly focused on promotion of teacher education, application of ICT in higher education, development planning, non-formal education, and others. Sorana had conducted the research for a development agency on the formulated capital/provincial development plans and investment programs and had involved in various research projects. Sorana was a scholar of the Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program in Japan. He graduated from the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and received his Bachelor Degree in Education and Master Degree in International Development from the Graduate School of International Development, Nagoya University, Japan. He is also holding a diploma of lower secondary school teacher from a Regional Teacher Training College and a diploma of public administration from the Royal School of Administration, Cambodia. Sorana speaks fluent English, and Khmer.

Mr. YIM Pouthea is a Senior Consultant of Socio-Economic Analysis of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. Prior to joining at Sustinat Green, Pouthea exposed his experiences with many various business and development research projects at HRINC Cambodia and BDlink Cambodia. He has advised many private firms, many of which involved in different industries including telecommunication, banking and micro finance, garment sector, NGOS and public sector. Pouthea has more than 10 years’ experience and in-depth knowledge in various fields including social and HR policies, marketing strategy, economic model in the frame work of micro economic analysis and Cambodian labor and civil service laws. Most of his clients, both local and international -such as World Bank, ILO, FAO, IFC, JICA, EWMI, AJINOMOTO, Safoni, Danone. Beside above career path, Pouthea also serve as a part-time business and economic lecturer at the leading economic school in Cambodia know as Royal University of Law and Economics. Pouthea earn two master degrees, one in Public Policy from the leading economic policy think tank in South Korea named KDI school of Public Policy and Management, and another in Public Administration from Chenla University. Further, he hold two other bachelor degrees, one in Economic Science from the Royal University of Law and Economic, and another in Business Administration from the leading business school in Cambodia called National University of Management. Pouthea also is a member of Cambodian Economic Association. He speaks fluent English, and Khmer.  

Mr. SUON Sopiseth has over 7 years’ experience in conducting research, social survey, ESIA study, public consultation, and urban poor studies.

Mr. SUON Sopiseth’s work involves with developing research framework, protocol and survey instruments, delivered training of survey instruments (questionnaire, and data entry template) to enumerators, tested the survey instruments and data management and manipulation. He has experienced leading field survey and coordinated meeting with local authorities and relevant stakeholders for interview, executing data analysis and report writing, and liasion between private developers and  the MoE. 

Mr. SUON Sopiseth has also experienced in conducting surveys and mapping of urban poor communities, and traffic count and road users’ perception survey. He is skill in using SPSS, R-programming, and GIS programs. 

Mr. SOK Vannara is the CEO and Cofounder of Sustinat Green Co., Ltd. He has 10 years’ experience in entrepreneurship and business management. Vannara has profound knowledge and know-how in business investment planning, strategic planning, and business management. Further, he has in-depth practical skill of exploring business opportunities, and import-export. Moreover, Vannara is an insightful person with practical skill of business-corporation and public relation within Cambodian environment. He holds a bachelor degree in Informatics Economics and a master degree in Public Administration from the Royal University of Law and Economics in Cambodia. With his law background, he extends his knowledge and interest in environmental law and green industry. Vannara is a Cambodian citizen. He speaks fluent English, Chinese and Khmer.

Mr. TY Chandara is the Co-Founder and the Chief of Finance and Administration Department. He has been working for more than 8 years in the field of finance and human resource management. Chandara specializes in corporate finance, taxation, managing banking relationships, valuation, and identification of cost savings opportunities. He received a master degree in Land Law and Patrimony, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics Development from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE). He also has an Associate of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD). With his diverse backgrounds, Chandara has unique ability to shape and lead financial function that is powerfully integrated with business operations and strategy. Chandara is a Cambodia citizen. He speaks English and Khmer.

Mr. SUM Sirey is the Co-Founder and Business Development Manager of Sustinat Green Co.,Ltd. Sirey has 7 years of architectural and urban planning experience in Cambodia. He specializes in new town planning, environmental planning, sustainable community development, and green business initiative. Sirey has both local and international working experience. In Cambodia, he worked as personal assistant to the vice dean of the architecture department of Royal University of Fine Arts, and the general director of KTH-HENG Horizons Construction Co., Ltd. He participated in many urban planning and architectural projects such as design and planning of special economic zone (SEZ), military fortress, and many private residents. Sirey worked as an architect and provided consultancy to private architectural companies and private architecture institute. In particular, Sirey also had international working experience in Korea. He worked as a researcher at Gyeongbuk PRIDE Product Support Center, South Korea. He wrote articles on green business initiatives in Cambodia which served as fundamental information for Korean investors who are interested in Cambodia’s market. He also invited as a guest speaker to speak on water management in Cambodia at for engineering education. Sirey has a bachelor degree in architecture and urbanism from Royal University of Fine Arts. He has received a scholarship from the Government of Republic of Korea for a master degree in public policy in economic development, and another expertise in Saemaul Undong Theory and Practice (Korean community development model) from Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul, Yeungnam University, South Korea. From the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul, Sirey received an award “2014 Excellence in Self-Help Award”. He is a Cambodia citizen and speaks fluent English and Khmer.

Mr. SOM Piseth is the Chief Technical Officer of Sustinat Green Co.,Ltd. Piseth has 8 years of work experience in environmental research and development in Cambodia. His expertise are in social scientific research and lab based experimental research. In addition, he has involved partially in the EIA work as the enumerator, analyst, and reporter. He also worked as a coordinator in public consultation and meeting during the EIA work in Kratie and Kompot provinces. A part from the EIA work, Piseth is a better translator in translation from Khmer to English or vice versa. Piseth graduated from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in the field of Environmental Science and a bachelor degree in English Literature from Build Bright University in 2011. Since then, he received a scholarship from Royal Thai Scholarship by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for a master degree of Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Burapha University, Thailand. As part of Master Program fulfillment, Piseth have conducted a research on industrial wastewater treatment which was the laboratory experimental research. Piseth also received best paper award during the international conference on top of the requirement for graduation. He had worked for Wastewater Treatment Laboratory Center, Burapha University, for one year. During his work, Piseth leaded the undergraduate research group in wastewater treatment. He implemented in specific task of scientific reviewing, team guiding and instructing, technical monitoring and reporting. After graduation in 2014, Piseth worked as Quality Control Engineer for feedmill plant namely Betagro Cambodia Co., Ltd. As given, his expertise and educational background could prove that Piseth has potential in research, comprehensive analysis, chemical and environmental engineering which is the need for scientific EIA study. Piseth speaks fluent English, Thai, and Khmer.
